Where is Mint Pharmacy and Skin Clinic located?

We are headquartered in our Florida location at 1201 US Highway 1, Suite 1, North Palm Beach, FL 33408. We also have a Texas location at 17006 Seven Pines Drive, Suite 500, Spring, TX 77379.

Can I go to your pharmacies in person?

At the moment, our Florida headquarters runs our pharmacy facility to fulfill our online orders. Both our Florida and Texas storefronts are in the process of construction. When they’re complete, we’ll be announcing the grand opening of each building, and we would love to have you visit at that point! Please join our mailing list to make sure you’re among the first to know when that happens.

What if I want to talk with the pharmacy staff?

You absolutely can! Our pharmacy is located in North Palm Beach, FL and our counseling hours are Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM EST, and on Saturday from 9 AM to 12 noon EST (closed Sundays). What’s the difference between Mint Pharmacy and Skin Clinic, and MintRx?

Why do I need to create an account? Can’t I check out as a guest?

Because MintRx is the eCommerce retail store for Mint Pharmacy and Skin Clinic, a licensed pharmacy, we need to have a record of your contact information and medication history in order to dispense prescription products to you.

What if I need to change my account details?

Simple! Just go to the top of the screen and click on the Log In link in the top right side of the navigation to the right of the cart, and log in to your account. (Use the “Forgot Password?” link if you need a reminder sent to your email address.) Once you’re logged in, you’ll be able to change your email address, password, shipping information, and other profile details.

When do I create my patient medication profile for prescription products?

After you make your purchase, check your email for your Mint Pharmacy and Skin Clinic receipt which will contain a link to your secure medical intake form. You should open the email right away and fill out the medical intake form to complete your patient profile. You MUST fill out this secure form and follow the prompts to submit your prescription for Latisse® or other prescription products with Mint Pharmacy and Skin Clinic before your order can be shipped!

What if I don’t have a prescription, or there’s a problem with my prescription?

If you don’t have a current prescription from your physician for Latisse or another prescription product, you will need to get one before we are able to fulfill your order. Latisse is ONLY available by prescription.

If there’s a problem with your prescription, one of our pharmacy team members will get in contact with you to resolve any issues. Please be sure to provide us with the best phone number to reach you. Possible issues include having too few refills left on your prescription for the quantity in your purchase, a missing prescription, or a fax of the prescription from your doctor that is blurry or illegible. We will always work with you to try to fix any issues and fulfill your order as quickly as possible.

I have a doctor’s prescription for Latisse or another product that you offer. What do I do next?

Mint Pharmacy and Skin Clinic uses a simple three-step process to get your order to your door if you already have a physician’s prescription.

  • Step 1 is to PURCHASE the product you want, ordering much like you would any other product online. If you’ve never ordered with us before, you’ll be prompted to create a secure account and patient profile before you complete your order.
  • Step 2 is very important! This is where you CREATE your patient medication profile. You will receive a receipt for your purchase at the email address you used for your account. In that email, you’ll get a link to a secure medical intake form with questions including date of birth, allergies, and current medications. You will need to fill this out completely. (For future orders, you will be asked to review and update this information when you sign in to your account.) In this form, you will be asked whether you, another pharmacy, or your physician has your prescription.
  • Step 3 is to SEND us your prescription information. If another pharmacy has your prescription, we will ask you for their name and contact information as well as your authorization to transfer your prescription to Mint Pharmacy and Skin Clinic. If your physician has your prescription, you can indicate that on your medical intake form. Your physician can call in your prescription to our pharmacists at 866-855-6468 or fax it to 561-619-5169. You can also give us your physician’s name and contact information, and our pharmacists can reach out to them directly. Finally, you can mail the original copy of your prescription, if you have it, to our facility at Mint Pharmacy and Skin Clinic, 1201 US Highway 1, Suite 1, North Palm Beach, FL 33408. Please be aware that mailing your prescription will add extra processing time to your order.

Once you have PURCHASED your order, CREATED your patient medication profile, and SENT us your prescription or given us your physician or pharmacy’s contact information to have it transferred, our pharmacists will review your completed profile and prescription, and your order will be shipped within 1-3 days of approval. You will receive a shipping confirmation email with a tracking number when your order is complete.

You are welcome to submit a scan or photo of your subscription as an attachment to your patient medication profile for information purposes only. However, our pharmacists will need to contact your physician to verify and approve the prescription before we are able to dispense your prescription products.

How do I submit my prescription for fulfillment?

Your physician can call in your prescription to our pharmacists at 866-855-6468 or fax it to 561-619-5169. You can also give us your physician’s name and contact information, and our pharmacists can reach out to them directly.

If another pharmacy has your prescription, you can provide us with their contact information on your secure medical intake form and authorize a legal transfer of your prescription to our pharmacy. We’ll take care of it from there!

Why can’t I just email or fax my prescription myself?

Faxing, scanning/photographing, or emailing a prescription creates multiple copies of the prescription while allowing the patient to retain the original copy. This means that it would be possible to get the prescription filled in more than one place at once. For this reason, most states forbid pharmacies from accepting anything but the original, hard copy of the prescription from patients in order to prevent fraud. Because we are licensed in over 40 states and are seeking licensure in all 50, we are committed to upholding the highest standards and have made it our policy not to fulfill prescriptions from copies of original prescriptions provided by patients, even in the few states that still allow it. You are welcome to attach a scan or image of your prescription to your patient medication profile for informational purposes only, but our pharmacists will need to contact your physician to get the prescription verified and approved before we can dispense your prescription to you.

I used to be able to buy Latisse and prescription skin care products online just by answering some questions about my medical history. Why do I have to take these extra steps now?

In the past, it was possible to get certain prescription-grade products like Latisse online from businesses run by medical spas or doctor’s offices, by filling out a brief medical history form on the website.  However, state and national regulations have been tightened for your protection, and the requirements for a legal Latisse prescription are stricter now.

In order to legally dispense Latisse and other prescription personal care products online, a business must be a pharmacy or physician practice licensed and certified in both its own state and the state where you reside; it must have an original prescription written by a doctor with whom you have an established relationship; and it must verify your identity and location. We meet all of these standards in order to ensure your safety and remain completely compliant with the most stringent regulations. It takes a little more time at first, but in the long run, it gives you the peace of mind of knowing that you’re dealing with a licensed pharmacy that cares more about your safety than about cutting corners and finding loopholes.

How do you protect my privacy?

We take your privacy very seriously and are careful to ensure that all our processes are HIPAA- and HITECH-compliant.

In order to get the information we need to complete your order, Mint Pharmacy will transmit a link to a secure medical intake form that you will be required to complete. Our form uses SSL encryption and is accessed via HTTPS 100% of the time for all users. SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) is the standard for ensuring data is encrypted when being sent to a web server from a browser. In addition, our highly available, cloud-based, and secure medical intake form hosting environment uses Microsoft Azure and is both BAA (HIPAA) and PCI (DSS) level 1 compliant.

Do you accept returns or cancellations?

We cannot accept returns or cancellations on any prescription products. Because Latisse® is a prescription product, we cannot accept returns or cancel orders for any reason. If your order is damaged in the shipping process, keep all packing and shipping materials so that you can file a claim with the shipping provider.Your Latisse® kit is factory-sealed by the manufacturer Allergan. If you discover a problem with your product when you open it, you can contact Allergan toll-free at 800 -890-4345 to file a claim directly with the manufacturer.

Under most circumstances, we are able to accept returns and cancellations for non-prescription products. Returned products must be unopened and in the original packaging, and must be mailed back with any paperwork that was included in the package we shipped to you. How long does shipping take?

When you check out, you will be able to select your preferred shipping method, either via USPS (Priority or First Class) or via UPS (Standard Ground, Expedited Two-Day, or Overnight). Typically, USPS arrives within 3-5 business days from the time the order is fulfilled. UPS Standard typically arrives 5-7 days from the time the order is fulfilled.

Once your prescription is approved, your order will be fulfilled and shipped. Under most circumstances, your order will be shipped within 1-3 business days.

Why can't you ship prescription products to my state?

A pharmacy that dispenses prescriptions online must be approved and licensed to operate in each state independently. Mint Pharmacy and Skin Clinic has applied for licenses in all 50 states and is currently licensed in 40. Because each state has its own approval process and regulations, the process takes longer in some states than in others. Ultimately, we expect to be approved in every state. If we’re still waiting for your state, please join our mailing list so that we can tell you right away when we’re able to offer Latisse and other prescription products where you live.

Do you ship internationally?

No, we are only able to ship within the United States in the states where our pharmacy is licensed. We cannot send your prescription order to a private shipping company—they cannot accept prescription products and will reject it, destroy it, or return it to us.

How can I check the status of my order?

Simple—just click the “Log In” link at the top right hand corner of this site and log into your member account. In the green box to the left side of your Account Dashboard, you’ll see “My Orders” as one of the options. Click there to view your orders and their statuses.

I mailed in the original copy of my prescription, but my order status still says Processing/Waiting for Prescription. What do I do?

We recommend that you allow 5-7 days for your prescription to reach us and get entered into our system. Under normal circumstances, once we’ve received and verified your prescription, your order will be shipped within 1-3 business days. If it’s been more than 10 days from the day you mailed it, and you have not received a shipping confirmation email nor seen your order status change in your account, please call our Client Care team at 866-855-6468, open a live chat with a representative, or email ClientCare@mintrxpharmacy.com.

If your prescription has gotten lost in the mail, we will need to speak with your physician to get a new prescription authorized.

How much of my prescription product can I purchase in one order?

We can only dispense the amount or number of products prescribed by your physician. Please check with your doctor when you receive the prescription that you understand how much you’ll be able to order, and how many refills are authorized.

Mint Pharmacy and Skin Clinic offers a carefully-chosen selection of prescription-grade personal care products including Latisse eyelash growth treatment, as well as several dermatologist- and aesthetician-recommended brands of non-prescription, physician-grade products for skin, nail, and hair care.

We are a boutique pharmacy focused on skin, nail, and hair health, and as such we don’t carry prescription drugs for other concerns.
